Keeping the World Connected: A Flash Global Family Effort

Each day, the COVID-19 coronavirus continues to impact all of us around the world in both our personal and professional lives. We all have our own concerns, thoughts and perspectives about what is taking place, influenced greatly by the barrage of the content we consume and personal observations. Understandably, there is a tremendous sense of uneasiness everywhere. During times of uncertainty, it becomes even more important to stay grounded in purpose, while fighting through to maintain calm and control. I am extremely proud of our team, regional network partners and valued customers who are working together to mitigate the unprecedented challenges brought on by this pandemic that continues to evolve.

Our top priority is the safety and health of our employees and partners that support the daily execution of service delivery in all corners of the world. Our customers’ equipment supports the critical infrastructure of governments, hospitals, transportation providers, airlines, telecom providers – all essential services that keep the world functioning during this time of unprecedented uncertainty. We have customers in the medical industry who are directly involved in the testing activities for this virus. Our customers are counting on us. Flash Global is playing a vital role in the global effort to fight and overcome this pandemic, and we are proud to be helping.

We service and support our customers in 140 countries, 24/7/365. We adjust service as needed based on government mandates, transportation delays or stoppages, and local nuances that can change daily or even by the hour. Each country, state, county, or city might have different definitions of what movement is allowable and also what’s considered an “essential” business. Communication is critical — both internally and externally — to ensure we can continue to provide service and support to all stakeholders.

There are times when answers cannot come quickly enough and you need accurate information for your internal teams and end customers.
