And yes, grammar police, we know that technically “Tee” should be “T,” but sometimes we like a good word play. See, we here at Flash like to have fun while we work, just like our new pal Charley.
Known for his charismatic style, Charley will don the Flash logo on his shirts while competing, as he did Thursday while shooting an even-par 71 in the first round of The Barclays tournament. He had a few hiccups on the back nine; five bogeys in a nine-hole stretch might be enough to drive a lot of golfers from the course in a huff. Not our man Charley. He’s already thinking about Friday’s second round, but not so much that he couldn’t take some time to share some love for Flash with his legion of Instagram followers:
That’s how Charley rolls. And that’s why we’re so excited to welcome Charley into the Flash family.
“People all over the world can identify with Charley, a family man who works incredibly hard, plays equally hard — just as we do at Flash,” said Sam Mikles, Flash Global President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our target audience plays golf, watches golf, follows the game week in and week out. He will be a great ambassador for Flash.”
Aligning with one of the most recognizable figures in golf will further amplify Flash’s brand on the international stage. That’s an important step in our company’s continued evolution into a front-runner in the service supply chain world. Like Charley, we’re committed to continuous improvement.
There’s that perfect fit again.
But this relationship goes much deeper than that. We’re looking forward to presenting opportunities for Charley to get to know our extended Flash family — not only our customers and employees but colleagues from throughout the industry who are equally committed to transforming service supply chain offerings to serve customers from all around the world with an even higher level of excellence.
